Who We Are

Mission
Friends of Avon Lake Public Library supports and promotes the Library through fundraising and programming, enriching the life of the community.
Friends of Avon Lake Public Library is a member-supported nonprofit organization that advocates, fundraises and provides support for the Library. We provide the community with opportunities to invest in the success of the Library by donating funds or by donating time through volunteering.
Friends of Avon Lake Public Library is what our name implies - a collection of committed, caring individuals who share a common vision of excellence for our public library.
The Friends Board meets the first Monday of each month at 7:00 pm at the Library. A membership meeting is held annually in late August.
